Big-time cybersex dens operator arrested

The 3rd Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Philippine National Police arrested a big-time cyber sex den maintainer in Central Luzon Thursday.

CIDU regional chief Senior Supt. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar said two young cybersex models were rescued in simultaneous raids at 11:45 p.m. on two dens allegedly maintained by Angel de Leon Herrera in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Porac.

Herrera’s house at 1 Sto. Niño Street, Purok 3 and and a rented apartment at 102 Tauros Street, Doña Adela Subd., Phase 1 Barangay Sta. Cruz yielded 13 computer sets, three monitors, eight hard disks, six routers, 11 webcams, seven mouse, P85,000 and $1,000.

Herrera, 28, who uses the aliases “Vince,” “Lance,” “Teng,” and “Ariel,” was detained at the CIDU office. His alleged business partner, Marissa Rodriguez, is at large.

Criminal charges were filed against the suspect for recruiting, hiring and maintaining trafficked persons to engage in pornography. Using www.asianbabes-cams.com., the suspect allegedly pays his models P20 per minute for posing in the nude. The rescued models, Angelyne and Kim, are now under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
